Objects for Modern Survival
Independent Design Practice | Leather Goods & Accessories | 2026
A collection of playful leather accessories inspired by the little things we rely on to get through modern life. From lip gloss and lighter holders to tea bags and tape measures, everyday essentials are reimagined as objects of humour, utility and affection.
Developed through my independent studio practice, each piece is taken from concept and sketching through pattern making and hand construction, allowing me to explore material, form and craftsmanship beyond my commercial design work.
An independent design practice founded on the belief that creativity is a form of soft rebellion.
Blending art, design, humour, and craftsmanship, the studio explores the extraordinary in the ordinary through playful objects, unexpected ideas, and thoughtful storytelling.
Rooted in curiosity and experimentation, this is a space to make things simply for the joy of making, and to inspire others to embrace their own creativity.

Sketch/Concept
A playful exploration of everyday rituals, personal essentials, and the objects we grow attached to. Drawing inspiration from utility, nostalgia, and contemporary culture, the collection reimagines ordinary necessities as objects worth celebrating.
Process
From paper patterns to cutting, assembling and finishing, each piece is handcrafted in my studio.
Working directly with leather allows me to experiment freely with construction, refine proportions and develop a deeper understanding of material behaviour. This hands-on approach brings a different perspective to my commercial design work, strengthening the connection between concept, material and finished product.
