“Conventional cotton production uses up to 16% of the world’s insecticides, and 7% of herbicides. These chemicals are then washed out of soils, polluting rivers and damaging the environment.
Cotton farming also requires large amounts of water for irrigation causing soil salinisation, drying up of lakes and other large bodies of water.”

I worked with tentree’s product team, the material developer and technical developer in choosing a loose, soft woven fabric weight that would make a great weight for a blanket scarf for fall/winter.
Jacquard Design
Inspired by the reflections of forests seen in water, this design uses triangular shapes alluding to coniferous trees and plays with a reflected pattern.
Soft white, and greys allude to winter mornings.
Inspired by the folding in leaves, this design combines nature with classic horizontal stripes and repetitive geo patterns.
The olive green colour reverses with a black backdrop alludes back to nature.
